Tired of typing up your indexes?  Too busy to take the time to learn how to make your own automatic index?  If so, it's time to let us help you upgrade to Automatic Indexing.  Automatic indexing commands are built into your block files (also called merge files, include files, boiler templates, etc.).  If you don't have block files already you can add them to your order. Here's a brief overview of how the process works:

• You'll send us samples of your block files and your index(es) so we know exactly how your index SHOULD look like.
• If you don't have block files, we must create them for you (please add the block files option below)
• Once we receive your files, we add special lines of code to each file to telling your software what you are indexing and where it needs to go
• We then make create custom paragraph styles and spacing settings in order to make your index look perfect
• Once complete we will test the files thoroughly and then send them to you via email
  
• The email we send is self extracting; all you need to do is open the file and it will do the rest

Most of the time we are able to make your automatic index look just like your manual index that you currently use. However, certain ways of indexing items are not possible when using an automatic index. If this happens we will work with you to find a solution that fits your needs and/or closely resembles what your manual index looks like. Automatic is a wonderful time saving tool; you'll be amazed at just how much time you will save not having to prepare your own indexes!
