Quick Overview

With our Personal Backup Service, your entire system, including your Concierge Computer Setup AND your CAT software files are backed up on a USB hard drive.

Most manufacturers long ago stopped sending recovery DVDs with new computers, using instead a special recovery partition on the hard drive. This works well, unless of course your drive crashes. Plus there’s your data to consider as well. Although we strongly advocate it, almost no one makes recovery discs when they receive their new computers. With our Personal Backup Service, your entire system, including the Custom Configuration we made for you (over three hours work by a technician to prepare your computer) AND your CAT software files are backed up on a USB hard drive. In the event of a catastrophe, you would access this USB Hard Drive and follow the instructions to restore your computer to the last backup point, which includes ALL your programs AND files, in one easy process. The idea is that in a short while, usually about an hour's time, your computer could be completely restored to working order without having to sweat or pay for costly repair services!

This Personal Backup Service includes a 2TB (terabyte) external USB Hard Drive, a full, licensed version of Macrium Reflect Standard Backup Software, installation and configuration of the software by our technicians, creation of the first backup, and assistance with the setup of an automatic backup schedule. Once the schedule is set the software will automatically back up on schedule (as long as you have the external hard drive connected), and it will automatically delete older backups so you don't have to worry about housekeeping. It makes backing up simple and mindless!
