The eVerbatim Enhanced Flash Drive is our latest attempt at reducing the amount of support equipment that court reporters have to carry around.  Flash drives have always been fantastic to have around for quick backups, transferring files between computers and most recently for using the Bridge Realtime Viewing Software made by the folks who make Total Eclipse.  The problem is that we end up with a lot of different drives to accomplish our intended tasks.  So, we thought to ourselves, there HAS to be a way to combine all these finctions into a single device - so we did just that!

The eVerbatim Enhanced Flash Drive combines a traditional flash drive, a "U3" based flash drive AND a "Bridge on a Stick" drive into a single device!  So with our single drive you get loads of dedicated file storage, the ability to run the latest version of bridge on ANY computer without installing it and access to a portable applications system loaded with tons of USEFUL utlities (web browsers, security software, screenshot software, etc.) .  And, as if that weren't enough, we've also preloaded these drives with a wide array of drivers for court reporting related devices; like StenoCast drivers, Writer drivers, USB to Serial Adapter drivers and so forth.  

Here's an example of how you can use this drive.  Say you walk into a deposition and the attorney wants a realtime feed, but their computer has no realtime viewing software installed and is "locked down".  Just insert your eVerbatim enhanced drive and away you go.  Install your serial adapter and/or wireless stenocast driver from the driver vault of the enhanced drive, then fire up the portable version of Bridge without having to install it at all!  You could even let your attorney use the built-in portable applications system to safely access the internet without harming the computer.  Once the deposition is over you just take back your enhanced drive, plug it into your computer and use it to back up the job you just took in the dedicated storage area!
