If your notebook sound chip or desktop soundcard is incapable of producing crisp clean sound recordings, connect the Andrea USB pod to the USB port on a computer with Windows 98SE, 2000, XP, Vista or 7. This device will work with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports, although the best performance is found with notebooks using a USB 2.0 port.

This USB soundcard will input audio from any standard microphone to your computer. Just plug in any good microphone and you are assured of high-quality sound input. Includes a separate cable that plugs into the computer's soundcard and the USB pod. Sound playback is passed through this cable to the earphone speaker of a headset microphone.

This device is for reporters that have good playback through their current speakers or headphones, but have poor audio recordings.  You cannot plug headphones directly into this device as it is only designed to interface with microphones and voice masks.  If you need a replacement USB Sound Card for both input (microphone) and output (headphones) please take a look at the rest of our USB Sound Cards, which all have the ability to do both.
